Sunshine Residential Homes provides safe, structured, and supportive residential care for children and youth placed through Arizona’s child welfare system.
Our community-based homes serve children with a wide range of ages, strengths, experiences, and placement needs. This includes sibling groups, girls, boys, pregnant and parenting teens, and young people preparing for adulthood.
Our work extends beyond providing a home. Across Sunshine, children receive educational support, age-appropriate life-skills instruction, recreational opportunities, consistent supervision, and encouragement from adults who are invested in their progress.
We work collaboratively with the Arizona Department of Child Safety, schools, families, advocates, and other approved members of each child’s team.

Every child and young person who comes to Sunshine brings a unique story, set of strengths, and vision for the future. Our residential programs are thoughtfully designed to provide the right balance of stability, structure, encouragement, and age-appropriate independence within a welcoming, home-like environment.
Whether we are helping brothers and sisters remain together, supporting girls and boys in gender-specific homes, or guiding pregnant and parenting teens as they care for their children, our commitment remains the same: to ensure every young person feels safe, valued, and supported while building the confidence and skills needed for what comes next.
