Halloween at Sunshine

At Sunshine Residential Homes, we want to ensure that every child has a fun Halloween experience while placed in our care. Sunshine offers a lot of fun opportunities for the children to have fun, dress up, and enjoy the holiday. Every year, all Sunshine children and administrative staff celebrate Halloween at Castles~n~Coasters where Sunshine staff and children dress up in costumes and enjoy unlimited rides at the amusement park. Every child receives money for snacks and drinks as well as a Halloween goodie bag filled with various candies and toys.

Sunshine has hosted various Halloween based events in the past in addition to our annual Castles~n~Coasters event. Sunshine has hosted trunk-or-treats, door to door trick or treating at Sunshine’s main office, as well as a fun Halloween party in Sunshine’s Harmony Hall. We encourage children to dress up as they play games, do crafts, and enjoy a delicious meal. Sunshine also participates in community-based Halloween or fall festivals including Word of Life’s annual Harvest Festival. Sunshine also attends various Trunk-or-Treats and partake in fun at-home activities to better help celebrate Halloween.
